Closing cycles... too easy to say... =(

I have come across this blog and read about Paolo Coelho's Closing Cycle... here is my favorite part:
Nothing is more dangerous than not accepting love relationships that are broken off, work that is promised but there is no starting date, decisions that are always put off waiting for the “ideal moment.” Before a new chapter is begun, the old one has to be finished: tell yourself that what has passed will never come back. Remember that there was a time when you could live without that thing or that person - nothing is irreplaceable, a habit is not a need. This may sound so obvious, it may even be difficult, but it is very important.

Was it easy for you to close a chapter in your life, move on and live life forward?? Or are you having troubles getting over what has happened to you?

IT is very difficult for me. As much as I want to leave it all to pass but somehow my heart says I still wish for him to come back to me. He hurt me alot but the fact that I still love him erase all the angers away. Maybe someday if I could just get this stupid love off of my chest then things will be okay. I know this has become a habit on me. Loving him has become my habit but this habit is not my need. I will come to accept this soon and things will be better and I will be better of on my own.

I do have many troubles in moving on. it is very hard for me. i do many things for me to forget but at the end of the day, it will always comes back likes pins pricking the heart. but anyway, as the days goes on, i realize that it is part of life and dong things are worth living for. no matter what happens, we hold the key to our happiness

Frankly, i do kinda hate this article, not because it's false or irritating, but it's the truth. and because i happen to have just done this last night, which is so sick. but one thing i do appreciate is that change and starting over is merely part of growing up. i do realized this, it is ourselves that we are hurting because of our chance of not moving on after a ruined relationship.there's always a better person i think.1 person likes this

Hi Chiyosan!.
I think its has a great wisdom. We cannot start the new one unless we close the old chapter of our life.
Saying goodbye and carry on our life will good start to the new one but when its come to love its become a hard business to forget.

This is so touching.
My boyfriend and I broke up 3 weeks ago. This article touched me so much. He told me to wait for him. He told me we'll be together SOON. I don't now how long that will be. But I have decided to move on. That's why that part "tell yourself that what has passed will never come back" just slapped me on the face. I think it's best for me to do that. I have been happy before I met him. So why wouldn't I be after we ended it? I am so happy you posted this.
