What is the cause of astigmatism?

When you have headaches and back pains, they say that you have astigmatism. Why is this and what's the cause? And how to avoid it?

Astigmatism may be hereditary or maybe because you rub your eyes specially when there's foreign body in your eyes. It will cause your cornea to be out of shape. It can be corrected through wearing eye glasses with the right grade.

Astigmatism is another form of error of refraction. It is usually caused by imperfectly shaped cornea, which distorts images. It is really better for you to see an ophthalmologist, to help you of the proper ways to prevent or avoid it.
