When the collection of stickers started last Wednesday which was November 3, I can't understand the feeling of being so excited much to sip coffee and collect stickers to get the free planner for this year's edition. At first I said it to myself that I can go to Mall of Asia by next day since I thought that I was really lazy but it came to the point that I was sleepy then dizzy so I slept first after lunch then woke up I think it was 3:00 in the afternoon. It rains and I thought I couldn't go. But when I woke up and the rain stops that is the time I decided to Mall of Asia branch to see the planner. Well it is not so hard for me to go there since it is really access for us. I went inside the starbucks so I ordered peppermint mocha latter which is my ever since favorite among the other Christmas season drink so the barista gave me the first day promo card with 1 free sticker then put another sticker at the special beverage. I just realized that the promo card with one free sticker was given away for every first day of releasing the starbucks planner. I just thought it was automatic that you will be having 1 free sticker even if it is not first day. Then when I already seat down to the bench it just so happens that I am looking at stickers to think and compute of how much will be the total cost if you will be able to complete it. Then my seat mate just saw me doing that so it came to the point that she gave me her promo card since she is not interested and there are 2 stickers on that which was the other one is free so it is also counted. As it said that you have to collect 17 stickers I imagine that I am only collecting 14 stickers because the other 3 was already free. Of course it was overwhelming and grateful on my part when someone gave me the promo card. After I am done with my coffee I ordered the Tazo Iced Tea so that I have another sticker at the core beverage area on the promo card. So there you go I've collected 5 stickers on the first day since the 2 was from mine, 2 free and 1 from stranger. At the second day which was November 4 I planned to buy the instant Via coffee so that is 3 sachets that are different flavors and I want to try it. So I already have 3 stickers at core beverages then I ordered 2 coffees for special. Not at the same time because after I bought other things I decided to taste the toffee nut latte which I can't appreciate it and have the feeling that I am gonna vomit on that. Then this is it on November 5 which was already Friday it happens that my boyfriend also ordered 2 cups for special beverages and of course I tried praline mocha and the peppermint mocha again in frappuccino version. So I was able to complete those stickers and that is the time I already claimed the planner so I have chosen the metal color which I find it unique, more decent and formal compare to other two. The barista told me that I am so fast. When I saw what is inside the planner they have 8 coupons, compare to last year it was only 6. But then I think we can only use 2. The planner looks like executive and journal type just like the 2009 but this one is much better compare to 2009. I like its cover and the concept of MY THIRD PLACE! which means it is understood that starbucks coffee shop is your third place to hangout aside from home and office or school. The design was focusing more on photos and the other branches of starbucks with beautiful and elegant ambiance. Last year in 2010 planner I was able to collect stickers for just 2 days . I could really say that I am already an addicted collector of planner since 2008 but I only did the fast pace just last year.
