Or would you prefer the quality during the 90's?
I was born in the 80's and grew up watching Valiente, Villa Quintana, Mara Clara, Pintados and several other shows that I would say has pretty good quality, I just noticed that today certain tv shows are just not that good anymore, of course there are still good ones, but not that much.
So which would you prefer, today's programs or the past ones???

What I appreciate with the programs now, is that they can end in just 3 months, unlike before that it would take years before a program would end.

Yeah that is kinda nice too, the fact that if it sucks then you wouldn't have to wait longer before it ends XD
But if the show is pretty good, it would get extended right? hehe!

I would prefer the past ones, I had watched those tv series as well when I was a child. One of the things I don't want in tv series in this time is that the actresses right now are almost half naked when they perform in the camera and they focus more on the love scene rather than the story itself. Another thing is that most tv series right now were just copied from tv series from other countries like Mexico, Taiwan, Korea and U.S. We often just make our own version of those tv series, example of those are Marimar, Endless Love, Big brother, Survivor and even twilight which was titled "immortal" on ABC-CBN. Another tv series I don't like is "Illumina" which I think doesn't have any moral values at all. However, there are still tv programs I like to watch such as Buble gang, Grazilda, Beauty queen and Eat Bulaga.

There are remakes that don't do justice to the original episodes but in the case of the latest remakes I can say that it's pretty good since apart from using the same title the people behind those remakes managed to add some twist and turns and made the remake a total new show on its own. I will have to disagree too with Imortal, although the plot about vampires and werewolves is not something new, imortal is such a nice show that even my kids are glued to it when it's showing (By the way, Twilight for me is such a horrible movie). I think the success of Imortal is much owed to the directors and the actors who play their parts so well.

There are good and bad quality television programs in all the decades, but to me the 90s was the best for good quality programs as alot of them now are either just like each other or very silly and arn't very interesting.

Yes I agree.Today's TV shows are too crap to watched. No offense to those network fans but this is my freedom of expression.I was born the late of 80's and I found a better show before in the 90's era.It is just TV programs nowadays are flooded with fairy tales that is too hard-edged to watched.I mean media company really evolved the way they entertain their avid viewers.Too ouch for my eyes to see especially the multicolor s graphics and effects.I don't know for the others why they really loved to watched, but I can only comment but not to changed it.

I'm still growing up with this generation's tv... and I kinda don't care at all for it. I much prefer things like Star Trek! And nightrider.. and the A-team!! And the older simpsons, the older south park. I think everything now is alittle try hard. Watched something called Aqua Team Hunger Force, and it is just trying to be funny by being as random as possible. Not very witty or clever.
But I don't even have a tv anymore, just 'cos I don't see the point. So maybe there is something out there that I like again! But I actually watched some old Buffy episodes just for fun, and they were awesome! As was Malcom in the middle!!
I miss it!!!

The only that I hated about programming in the early days was that the series was way too long, there are too many twists in the story jam packed into one series and the cast was like my family going together for a reunion. Despite all of that, I liked the stories enough and followed every episode like glue. Unlike today, the plots and stories are sometimes way overused or too simple, sometimes just an adaptation of some popular international series that does not quite fit in our culture. I say, sometimes past is better than the present.
