I go to places like Walmart to buy my makeup.I like that makeup and I think it is a good quality.I am just wondering if people buy makeup from Avon and Mary Kay?If so have you found it to be better than store boughten makeup?

some make up I buy from Sephora but some I do get from Avon or even from this site called E.L.F. I don't know if anyone here has heard of it but they have dollar makeup and it is really good actually so I buy from them a lot more than Sephora but they are all good places and good makeup quality.

Target and Sephora are wear I buy mine. Target is nice and cheap. Sephora is more expensive, but it's really nice because you can try almost all the products before you buy them. I haven't tried Avon or Mary Kay. I know my mom likes Mary Kay, but she doesn't buy it often.

I usually buy mine at Walmart since they have such a great variety at cheap prices. I have bought some things from Mary Kay & Avon, but it has really been hit or miss. One surprising place I have been able to find some name brand items at cheap prices is the Dollar Tree. Surprisingly, they sometimes have Maybelline & Loreal products (in actually decent colors) available for just a dollar.

We have several options where I am from. I use Ulta and Sally beauty supply as they specialize specifically on beauty products.

I used to buy my make up from Sephora but now I buy from AVON. I LOVE AVON! :) I think they're make up is amazing and very cheap compared to other places; cheap but actually good. I don't like department store make up very much. I have never used Mary Kay make up, but my friend does and she seems to like it as well.

Hi and welcome to mylot. I now buy my makeup from Walmart all the time, but I have bought my makeup from Mary Kay and at the counters of department stores. Really, the only difference I noticed was the experience. It was fun having someone work with you one on one to find your color tones and what looked best on you and how to achieve certain looks. But as for quality, I haven't noticed that much of a different. Especially concerning things like eye makeup and lip gloss.
