Do you think one ordinary middle class human being can actually make difference?

Not going by any controversy I may cut society into three pieces “rich class – middle class – poor class". It is fact that the rich are busy in money making and poor are busy in searching money to lead a life. What about the middle class? History proves that the middle class are the people who have little time to think, learn and lead! They use their grey matter to fuel changes! What do you think – they can not make differences ?

Hi Paul, I believe that it is the middle class that always makes the differences. You have rightly said that these are the people who have little time to think, learn and lead. But then, had it not for this middle class what would the Rich People have done? Take a look around - you would find that most of these rich class run industries, create job openings fund the researches and what not... but then at end it is this middle class that gets employed with them and makes them richer. The richer class exists because the middle class works for them. Yes, on most occasions, the rich class take the credits but that is just for the books and history. You wouldnt find a rich guy cleaning the floors or doing menial works. They have the funds and the means to make the middle class achieve. I wonder what middle class would do if there were no rich people around... They even cannot become like the poor class to make a living. Middle class works, thinks, develops but very rarely for own self... on most occasions for the rich. This is what is the difference between the Communism and Other Ideologies - In a communist state, everything is for the state or Nation so the contributions are known but for other ideologies, their contributions get lost (mostly) behind the scenes and some rich tycoon owns up the responsibility. Ford is the best example - He said - "I may not have the technical know how to develop the automobile, but I have resources to manipulate and make the people (who know technology) work for me!" And no one remembers who designed or turned his dream into reality. Cheers, theSids.

Well, yes, the people who rise up in this world started out as either poor or middle class. If you are rich, you have everything already, so what more could you want? It's not like a poor or a middle class person who is still striving for more.

Yes I do. the poor have to focus on survival. The middle class is the one with choices and options. Each person's choice adds to the changes in society.
