I have recently purchased a 3G dongle and using it for internet purposes.
I am receiving a good signal strength on the roof and in open places, but the signal drops heavily when i get inside my room.
Anyone who could help me with any techniques to boost my signal inside my room.

if you know exactly which direction the signal is coming from this might help- go to your local grocery store and buy the largest sarah lee frozen pie you can find. make sure of course, that it is of the tin type pie container. measure your usb device in the middle of the pie tin and make a hole there- push the usb device about halfway or so; bingo! instant homemade antenna. aim your new pie antenna at the source of the internet signal; you should get a better signal. you may have to adjust it a bit, but it should work.I use this antenna and it really does make a difference.you may have to increase the length of the usb cable as well.(by plugging 2 usb cables together).
