I saw the popularity of iPod, and many teens seems must have one at hand. I just simply don't understand why. Take my niece for instance, because her classmates, majority of them have one, she gotta have one herself, so her mom bought an iPod, for over $100 for 15GB. I download that iTune software from Apple official website, and help her out to transfer music. And those movies you must either pay or rent with different prices. I mean, for over $100 for that iPod, is it worth the price? I just don't understand them. I can listen to music from my computer, or mp3 too. Why iPod?

It applies the same to the handset market. The makers are now not trying to dig out of our pockets but to excavate our pokets by constantly push new devices into the market in a extremely high frequency. I do think it's a waste of money for our consumers to chase too close with the updated gadgets, like it's not necessary to upgrade your IPHONE3 into 4 the time when it comes out. The marketers are setting a trap for us to jump into.Comon, what's the big leap they've taken to perfect the 4th version from the 3rd? There are Ipad, tablets, smartphones,PDAs,etc, we human beings are just never get satisfied.Only when we have all the functions convergented all in one set might we get cool-down. but who knows, the trend is already showcasing 3D phones, how could you stil sit tight on your chair,haha...

I have an ipod and I love it. I got it because I like to listen to a variety of music. I get bored listening to a cd because some cds all the songs seem to sound the same. With an ipod I can have all the songs I like together in one source. Yes I could listen to them on my computer but with my ipod I can listen to them anywhere. I can use headphones and listen to it at the gym or while I'm walking. I have an adapter thing that I can use the tap deck in my van to listen to it over the radio.
