Counterfeit bills are found everywhere, and it is especially widespread in used during the holiday season. From local newspaper report, a couple use counterfeit bills to purchase over $5,000 worth of expensive electronic equipment from the stores. Those items included Plasma TV, home stereo system and blueray DVD players. At my part - time job work, one lady used a $10 counterfeit bill to pay for her meal, and later, we found out this bill is fake, and we hang it on the cash register to remind ourselves to check carefully before accept those big bills.

Counterfeiting is a serious crime that shouldn't be neglected by many. A few years ago, my neighbor was arrested for reproducing counterfeit money. All their paraphernalia was confiscated and they were put to jail. But after several years they were free again. What if they create more of these and try to deceive people again. Nowadays money is hard to come by and people just commit crimes to get so much money.

Counterfeiters of money are on the rise and are indeed working double time to spread their evil work which is both bad for economy and paying public. Before time, only big valued bills are counterfeited. But nowadays, even small bills. And for us, common people, find it really difficult to check if the money is fake when the counterfeited money turns out to be too good and almost identical with the genuine one. Its really not fair that these people who counterfeits money make an easy money while most of us are working all our heart out just to have our compensation. Everybody should be really careful specially when Christmas holidays comes because it is the time when spending is at high rate and also the fake money too can be everywhere.
