Okay I have seen a lot of commercials about the new My Phone phone brand and one of the cool features of this phone is that you can actually watch your favorite tv station while on the go. I don't like to buy one since there's a lot of rumors that phone with television reception tend to have a lot of radiation frequency and that they say is not good for your health but they say its just rumors. Though it would be nice not to miss your favorite show I don't know about the health risk it would pose later. If in case you have a chance and the money to buy one would you? Will you buy a phone with television reception?

I guess everybody has their own preferences. I have no need for a tv on my cell phone. I don't even listen to music on it. I travel a lot for work so I do need access to emails & internet but that's about it for me. Also, I don't watch a lot of tv so I wouldn't need it.

yes i have seen such phones but i found it useless because i already have a t.v set at home, plus when i get out of the house i have no intentions of watching tv while i am on the go..plus the screen would be so small i would not enjoy it.

i might, but it really depends. The one I have actually gets some tv but it's not like what's on right now. I have watched the weather channel on it though when I was traveling. I guess it could be useful but really with dvr's there is no need for it you can watch your show when you get home!

I really don't think that I would buy a phone that had television reception. The reason that I feel this way is because of the fact that I have a phone so that I can stay in touch with people, not so that I can watch my favorite television program while I am away from home. I actually don't even really see the need to have a smart phone because I don't think that there is any purpose to have a phone that does everything that so many phones that are out today do.

For me, I don't think I would buy a phone with television, anyway I can always watch TV at home. And I am not comfortable watching tv with a small screen.

I will buy one if it's available. IT's good for someone who's always on the go, while tv is their only form of relaxation. For some, it's good if they are able to receive news channels because it allows them to listen than reading the papers. After a hard day of work, do anybody still has the mood to read? As for the radiation problem, it's not too much of a hazzard because we are not having the phone so close to us, as if we are talking on the phone.

I didn't know you could do that on a cell phone. I don't think that I would want it though, as when I am out and about, it is to get away from watching tv. I think that it would be hard watching tv on it anyway, since the screen is small. I never thought about buying a cell phone to watch tv. Now, when it comes to teh internet, that I don't mind having at all, as I can access mylot and my other sites, while I am away from my computer. That means more to me than having tv on my phone. Take care, and have a very good day.

Hi freymind, No TV for my phone. Aside form being expensive, I don't find it practical to watch TV on a 2-inch screen. It's taxing on the eyes and I miss a lot of details we can get on wider regular screens. I would prefer to have a WAAS-enabled GPS cellular phone instead.
