can you last a day without watchng TV?

we cant deny the fact how much influence TV has brought to our lives. we get updated, entertained, educated because of TV. some other people are really addicted to watching tv. but can you last a day without watching it?
for a busy mom like me, the answer is yes. but probably if im not a mom, everyday would have a schedule for tv time...

I can last a day without watching tv. Especially when im too busy to even sit down in front of the tv or even just get to pass by a tv that is tuned on. I can get news on radios or newspaper and sometimes the information on tv keeps on repeating so i think a day without it won't really matter.

This question is funny to me because I inadvertently did something dumb so now I can't watch tv! I sold my tv/vcr on ebay because I saw that they were popular (and needed the money) and my husband had picked up another tv at a garage sale, so I didn't really think we'd need it anyway. After I sold and shipped the tv/vcr, I plugged in the "new" tv and found that it does not have the right connectors for my satellite receiver! So, I can't watch cable anymore, or any tv, just VHS movies! Then, I thought, "no big deal, I'll just watch tv online"...wrong again!
I CAN, but it isn't worth it because what I didn't realize is that Dish Network limits my bandwidth each month and watching tv online just doesn't work for me either, my internet connection gets too slow. So now the $90 a month that I used to be paying for cable and internet is really only for internet. I haven't watched tv in about a month and I do miss it. All my vhs and dvds are getting really old. Oh well, I'll get the right tv again soon.:)

I can absolutely do last a day or days without watching Tv.
TV is not as important as internet to me.
If I can last a day or days without TV, I cannot do it without internet.

I generally have the TV on for background noise, but I don't always pay that much attention to it. I can go a day without TV, though. My parents got rid of cable when my sister and I went off to college, so I'm use to not watching TV for long periods of time.

Yes, I once went a whole month when was a child about 11 or 12 y/o. An that was when cartoons were fun to watch all day long!lol Since becoming a dad, the longest I've gone was a week and a half.

I was never fond of watching television, when we have our cable connection, I thought it will change, but until now I still don't like watching TV, I spend more time in front of the computer and I barely spend an hour watching TV.

i think i can last a day without watching television. I have tried it two days in a row, although i was on my computer for those two days that i missed watching tv. I was so busy that i didnt even bother to open the tv.

I could last more than a day without watching TV. I don't watch much TV as it is. I'm on the computer alot or i'm never home. But when I do watch TV I like catching up on old shows etc. But I try not to revolve my whole life onto the TV. Not good for you!

yes. television is not what they used to be. i can last a day without it, i am at work all day long, i arrive home so tired, just enough for me to settle with my kids and give them time, and then lie down on the bed and fall asleep!

Yes,the last day I can not watch TV.I rarely watch TV,TV shows do not appeal to me,always watching television will lead to shortsighted,memory decline.

I don't watch much television. In my home I have a television that has a 19 inches screen. It is not the focal point of my lounge. I do like to watch some travel programs like 'Wish You Were Here'' and 'Holiday'. I like to see parenting programs like 'The World's Strictest Parents'. I enjoy seeing a news program called 'Unreported World'. When I go traveling I stay at accommodation that don't have a television or I keep it turned off. I find is hard to last one day without Internet these days. I took my net book to Canada with me this summer.

Well, I am only watching TV when the news is on going and the my favorite variety show Eat Bulaga. I am not watching TV all the time
