A first Michael Cole's heel act was mildly amusing. I say mildly amusing because it has its moments, but now its just getting rather ponderous. Hey, guys, Daniel Bryan is boring! We get it Cole. That is becoming the new "Hey guys, by the way, Rellik is Killer spelled backwards" to me. Cole I think there were periods where he was something approaching decent as a commentator. When he was with JBL on Smackdown, I thought that duo was pretty entertaining on most weeks. Here's the thing about heel commentators. They have to be entertaining. You might not like what they say, but they are entertaining. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is obviously the best example, followed closely by Jesse Ventura. Cole is no Heenan or Ventura. He's not even Don West. In fact, that's interesting. One thing that TNA did better than WWE. They turned their annoying shill into a better heel commentator than WWE did. Of course they botched it by taking him off television but it was the thought that counts. And when the mysterious RAW GM gets revealed, if it ever does, its pretty likely to be Cole. Talk about something that makes me long for the glory days of Mike Adamle.

completely agree with you here megamatt.
cole at best is a commentator. nuff said. guy is annoying and brings nothing new to the table. every finisher is a 'devastating maneuver' for michael cole, i mean common! at least learn the name of the finishing moves of the wrestlers, jesus h christ! woudl love to see his a$$ get kicked big time in the days to come. would actually prefer matt striker over cole. glad i miss the days when gorilla moonsoon, bobby 'the brain' heenan, and jesse ventura called the shots for wwf. man, since, i've gone that far back, i actually prefer vince mcmahon commentating ove michael cole.

yeah i have been noticing that.infact i love it when matt striker get backs at him during NXT.
now that you mention it,i do suspect he might be the anonymous GM because i dont see any other contenders.
if we re lucky,he will go the same way as mike adamle as a gm.
