Try to imagine if you are going to buy a cellphone. The white color will cost more than the black one. Are you willing to pay extra money for it and you can have your favorite color for your cellphone? I just don't want to pay more for it. I don't mind the color very much. I want to have the best price with worst color

I am a little more willing to pay more to get the colour phone i want, but not loads more. My wife is different to me... she will only have a phone of a certain colour... if she didn't like the colours it came in she wouldn't get it. It has to be black .... can't be silver or any other colour... got to be black and it has got to be a classic style where the keys and all other buttons are of the old style... not flip or sliding style.

Hi You This is really very bad that now a days companies are getting more just only for color, last week I went to buy a new laptop for me, I observed that the laptops from same company and with same specification had different rates and the difference was only due to color, I like the blue color so there was no option for me to give RM 100 extra just for color. This is really bad, and I have seen this trend now in every where, not only in cell phone or laptops but in other things people are selling their products on the basis of color, ohh bad...:) Keep smiling, your face value ll improve...

Hi youless, I'm not willing to pay extra money to get my favorite color if buying a brand new cellphone. To me the main purpose of buying a new phone is to enjoy it's new advanced features as well as its attractive functions which are not available in my old cellphone. Therefore it doesn't matter whatever color it's. Further more I'm not picky in color, and different colors have their fascinating attraction respectively. If not, the company won't launch out the same model new product with different colors. same to me, what I care more is, whether the price of it is reasonable or not. I believe some of the cellphone dealers are very clever in making money. Once they know that certain color of the device is in great demand they would ask for extra money. For many customers are more than willing to pay more for getting their desired color. Take care and happy posting

I am color blind. I choose a cellphone based on its uses. If it can serve its purpose well, I don't care about the color.

hi youless you my mylot friend use common sense. like you if I had to p ay more for my favorite color I wou ld still go with the cheapest one as the color will not have anything to do with the quality of the product. and I always go for the best price. hang the color I can live with black, Like most people I have a small budget so my money has to count so black would be just fine if the price is right.

I experience that when i buy Motorola cellphone way back 2008 i think. Flip-ted cellphones are the popular style in that time and i want the color pink. I want that color because in that time it was so limited and i just want to be unique. So what i did is t pay additional just to get that color. Not really my favorite but Motorola V3 is one of the best in that time. Then after 1-2 months i think. Bad happen to me and lost my cellphone. I buy that cellphone as y birthday gift. Im turning 18 that time and also my debut.

maybe as long as the price wouldn't be too expensive, i could add a little.. i want my cellphone to last, so i will chose the color i want, so that i will not feel sad or feel upset, because i chose the wrong color. but if the price would be too much because of just chosing the color i want, i would stick to it's original color. and since you mention black phones, i might chose the black color hahaha. it's my favorite.

youless, Like you, I just do not find any sense in paying more for the phone's trendy design or cover color. Being a seasoned traveler, I feel that such phones will attract unnecessary attention and make us become collateral damage at the end of the day. Loosing the phone from thieves may inconvenience us in some way but when it brings bodily harm to our love ones or ourselves will really be not worthwhile. So, I agree with you that the conventional colors would be suitable and most appropriate. Take care.

No I don't think so. I get a new phone every 2 years when the contract is up. I try and pick a good solid functioning phone. Color isn't important for me to spend money on.

If I had to pay the extra money for it, I would just go with my second favorite color I guess. I can't afford to pay these high prices since I'm living on a budget. I mainly have a cell phone in case I have car trouble or some other kind of emergency.

I will not pay extra money for the same quality but with a different color if they happen to be the same products. It is not worth it to pay extra. Besides, it doesn't sound reasonable for the seller to mark the price this way. Have a good day, youless.

I probably wouldn't buy a phone is the colour was really ugly. For example a phone with yellow and orange camo print. However I would not pay more specfically to get a colour I liked. I prefer to pick a colour but will go for the phone around the right price with the right functions.

I'd prefer not to pay extra money for just the color they made the case on the phone, that's silly! I suppose places will pull that to make an extra profit of course. I have a basic phone and it is red but it's a sturdier basic phone than what they normally offer for cheap. Hubby has broken alot of the really cheap phones. Though I'll say I like mine being red as it's easier to find in my purse. But really one can go to the mall and buy a colorful case for their phone so why pay extra from the manufacturer for a color when you can get patterns ect elsewhere. I agree though LOW price & good service..... who cares about the color!

why? here in the philippines you dont need to pay extra just because you want a different color, but you just need to make sure that the color you want is available. if you like the color white then there are a lot of colored white phones here but you dont need to pay extra. to answer your question i will not pay extra just for the color, but i guess ladies are willing to pay extra just to get the color they want.

its nice if you have your things with the color you want to show people what you like or who you really are. but for me, it doesnt matter. if there is an available color which i really like, ill get it but if i need to pay extra money just to have the color i wanted i wont buy it. i think its just a waste of money.

Hi youless! to answer your question, no i will not pay extra money for color. i have been one known to be pragmatic so i will use the phone for its function not for the color. after all, i just text and call so whatever color is okay with me. actually, as I have a cellphone plan, i just use whatever the company gives me because its free. i have never added money for my phone with the company.
