Today's men and women have emerged to be champion of deception and cruelty. Even the stray dogs get better response in cases of accidents and killings then the human being itself. Every where that I see, I can only find frauds, scammers, deception and betrayal. Are people really so materialistic that they have forget the mere idea of loving and caring each other. Is humanity dead already?? your thoughts please

Hi chhetp, It is quiet sometimes we came across each other on this forum. Pleased to meet you again. I don't agree with you that humanity is lost you can see it all over. If you are referring to the inhuman treatment the accident victims on the road gets sometimes, then they are very rare cases. In normal circumstances the passers by will flock to the victim and help him whatever way they can. I myself as an accident victim lying on the road, has been helped by unknown passers by. If you had gone through my post here earlier in the day you will understand that I had been to the crematorium today and that is the best place to know that humanity is still alive. Running after the money is the order of the day and you have to accept it as the evils of fast developing world.

Quite alot of us are materialistic, but we really shouldn't be because all thats important is our family and friends. I do have some things i don't ever want to loose, but there is some things i would be able to live without if i got used to not having them. We all grow up with everything we want nowdays or at least most things so it makes us appreciate things less than we should.

my dad passed away last year and when i helped my mom clean out his stuff i thought to myself, what is the point of having so many 'things' because the saying is true, you can't take it with you'.

Not all of course. But majority (I guess) are materialistic. They always says, "my gift?" so on and so forth. But other people are finding true gifts like love caring and respect.

Sadly there are some people like that, but I would still like to believe that most people aren't like that. There are still tons of decent people out there!
