There is tendency in my city at the moment that the poor starting to hate the rich people in the city. Why? It is because some of the richest merchant in town are doing things that will always benefit themselves but ignoring th social responsiblities. This kind of tendency is not healthy but it does exists.I don't think we have to hate the rich because they have more money than we have, but if they are doing something which is socially unacceptable and they have special influence on our society, we do need to voice up. However, I think the rich and the poor do have many things in common such as both groups will experience unhappiness and depresson in times. What do they have in common? The two groups are at least has one thing in common : They are all human.Wel, lets hear what you will say on this topic ? Share with us.

Here in America in the midwestern towns I live in, some conservative people like to point out that the poor are "jealous" of the rich. I think the problem is that many of the rich are arrogant and cruel. But not all of the rich are like that. My relatives in Detroit are rich and they are very generous. They set up summer camps for the poor and have just set up a computer center so that poor kids can come and learn. So the rich and poor both have their good parts and bad parts. Contrary to what some right wingers might say, BOTH the rich and poor hate taxes. LOL They both like nice things except the rich can afford to buy most of them. Exceptional people (athletes, genuises, etc.) come out of the ranks of both the rich and poor.

I think that the main similarity between rich people and poor people is that there is no one that is really happy. In addition to that, I think that the other thing that is similar between these two classes of people is that they are always trying to do what is best for themselves. Now, the main difference between the two classes of people is that rich people are able to come by things honestly while poor people typically have to advance by doing things that aren't necessarily legal.

Well... in that case they differ in; 1. money 2. character 3. lifestyle 4. power 5. opprtunity however, it doesn't mean if you're poor you are less fortunate. There are rich people who are much less fortunate than poor because they have only MONEY and nothing.

The differences between the rich and the poor. Is simply, rich can buy everything. It can make people or her/him loved ones happy while the poor can't feed him/her family of love. And the common? yah right. They are all human.

Money does everything, and everything cant afford by those less fortunate.Level of society nowadays lies whether you have a Ferrari or a mansion or with monopoly businesses. But,what really feels like to be a poor?or I just may say, less fortunate.I can say that my family before cant afford things other richest people here in our place can buy.Acquiring things were the basis of everybody, not all but most.I believed that being a less fortunate should be challenge instead of saying I hate these wealthy people. It is me who will suffer at the end, and they will still be rich and getting rich even more.Yes I also believed that we are all humans, and it is not too late to work hard and let us just respect everybody if others don't.

Everything is same except few wraps of paper (called money) which rich has more but is never satisfied .... an attitude high as a mountain which fails to see his flimsy ground on which he is standing .....

The rich can buy everything. But in buying everything, they miss the things money can't buy. The poor have themselves, and take care of that, cus themselves is the best asset they have.

Well, both of the classes hate each other; most of the time, both are still always unsatisfied because of the absence of happiness - poor people need money to support their family, while rich people need time for family rather than business. Somehow, the weakness of the one is the strength of the other; they are both judgmental. the most common reason the poor hate the rich is because they tend to see them as boastful and aristocratic, while the rich always think the poor are all social climber. that's my what in my view, I just don't know what the others think

There are differences and lots and lots of differences; thee is nothing common between the two. Rich can afford everything, what poor cannot afford. Rich skip their meals because they are overfull; they do not want to gain weight, whereas poor go hungry because they cannot manage two square meals. Poor are unhappy even though they might not have anything but rich would be unhappy though he would have everything. Poor would go out of the way to help others though they might have nothing but rich will hesitate to help though they have everything. Poor will view rich with respect but rich would look at them scornfully. This is not all, there are lots of difference and it is not possible to mention here all of them.

Differences rich can buy everything that money can buy, poor are limited. rich can protect theirself thru money, poor only protect by themself. rich can go anywhere they like because they have money to spend, poor are limited. sometimes cannot go somewhere. Only I know the similarity of rich and poor are being one life, one God who created them, one heart to love to other... see you around
