what is going on with scary movie?

I love those scary movie parodies. They just put comedy in a new dimension. They're low budgeted but still a great watch. I don't know any news on the latest scary movie but i sure am gonna search for it later.

The plans are for a Scary Movie 5 but whether it actually gets produced depends on the April release of Scream 4. If Scream 4 bombs then the rumours on various movie blogs is that they won't bother with a Scary Movie 5. On the other hand if Scream 4 is well liked then I would Imagine Scary Movie 5 maybe a rush job and out late August to capitalize on the school holidays.

I thought the scary movie 5 was the "Meet the Spartans" ? Guess I'm wrong. I'm so excited for that..I saw in imdb that there is going to be..maybe on 2011. There's still no cast though..but it is happening.In development, still.
