How to say NO to a friend's wedding?

Hi friends, I hope everyone is having fun and looking for a terrific weekend ! Well i have a dilemma in front of me. A close friend of mine is getting married this 20th. He has invited me specially and even arranged a vehicle for us friends, so that we don't have any problem attending his marriage. The problem is though its taking place 800 Kms away from where we live, in his native place Rajasthan and it takes a little less than 24 hrs to go there. If i go it will take a week to attend all the wedding ceremony's which i don't have. I have some work commitments and also an exam to attend later during this month. He will be very upset and annoyed if i don't go. My other friends r very excited about it and I will really put them down If i can't make it. So guys ca u give me some suggestions on how can i explain my situation to my friend? I don't want to disappoint him at all at the same time make him understand i got a genuine problem. Cheers, Tutul
