I was just talking to a friend of mine who is very successful. I was talking about my "big preach" smart people come in all sizes, shapes, colors and ages. He just said he wished everyone thought that way. I could not grasp that concept at all. He said he's discriminated against especially in retail stores. Sales clerks actually follow him around, never talking to him. He's black. They just watch. This reminded me of another friend who I went shopping with years ago. She said that if I wasn't with her the sales clerks would hover like she was guaranteed to steel. Why do I make that difference? Do they think I'm watching her? This is ridiculous. Please do not turn this into a discussion into anything negative. I need that like I need my world rocked again! Thanks everyone!

In reality, it really makes you wonder. I have heard of this happening all the time around here, and that Black people are the first ones pulled over by the cops, etc. These people are just like you and me, just a different color. Many of them might even be quite successful in business, etc. To me their never should be a judgement like this. We all have a right to be anywhere we choose ever since the 60s, so why do people still tend to forget and judge everyone who is different?
