Hello Dear Lotting Fellas
Now a day people spent their money more on extravagant pursuits. Therefore, dental coverage is not a high priority.
However, when you came to know the cost of dental coverage and the expenditure on just a simple dental plan you came to realize that how the dental insurance is important to you.
What is a discount dental plan?
How do discount dental plans differ from dental insurance plans?
Have a nice day...

Hello saqi
,
In this country, we don't really need it. but i need to save more money just to be able to have my two jacket porcelein teeth put back again
. probably those are from people who worked into companies because they need this kind of insurance for immediate dental check ups. probably i would do this next year, if i get my pay out that is.

Hi L. Knight
Nice to see your response over here, thank you very much,
I too have not done ever the dental check up but I am thinking of it this week or next week or may be latter, actually I never paid attention to my teeth, only brushing two times is I think enough for me but now I am thinking to go to doctor to have some cleaning etc...:)
Have a nice day friend..:)

This is a timely subject for me because I went to a dentist today in Birmingham. I'm going to have to have some teeth pulled and some dentures made after the first of the year, I hate to say, and it's going to be very expensive! It's still a little bit cheaper to have it done over there than it would be to have it done in town, though. I have Medicaid but it won't pay for adult dental. I think the difference between discount dental plans and dental insurance plans is that a discount plan let's you have the dental work done at a cheaper price. Dental insurance will pay for part of the procedure but the rest is your responsibility.

Hi Cyrus
Thanks for the information, yes I think this is main difference between discount plan and dental insurance, but is it OK to have dental insurance instead of going for discount plan because in insurance we can cover some other expenses like cleaning and care etc while in discount you have to pay whether it is less or high.
Now a days the dental care is much expensive and I dont know whether I have gone to doctor except toothache, for any care or cleaning or examination. May be with insurance I visit him regularly which ll be good for my dental health...:)

Yes, I think it would be all right to just have the insurance instead of the discount plan. You might want to ask around to make sure, though. Yes, dental care is expensive these days! It sure would help me if I had dental insurance but I just can't afford it. I don't mean to sound negative but I don't know if I could afford to pay my part if I did have insurance, anyway.
