There is just sometimes where no matter how hard you try, a certain class is not clicking. Perhaps at a different time, with a different mindset or instructor, you might be able to do much better. However, the most that you're hoping for to just merely survive the class with a passing grade. This has happened to me a couple of times where I have just accepted that "A" or "B" might not be happening. It does pain me but it happens.

I understand what you are saying. I had a few classes that was just too difficult for me to understand. It was, Math and Science. I did well in Biology during my senior year. I just had problems with other subjects. I did well in my electives though.

Sometimes I study and study and just feel like I'm not ready at all for a major test. I usually end up just giving up, thinking that I've studied as much as I can and just resigned for a poor grade. I generally end up doing a lot better than I originally thought, but, yes, I do sometimes think that I'll get a horrid grade.

I think once you set that sort of mindset, you won't do well in the class. I have done this so many times and each time because I said I wouldn't do well I wasn't disappointed when I only got a 'C' in a class. But when I told myself that even though the class wasn't my best subject, I would still try and I would do my best. More times than not, with that mindset, I got a 'B' in the class. Don't give up and don't say you won't succeed in a class otherwise you will fail :(

Well it is mostly towards the very end of the class where I normally get on this mindset during the rare times that I do. I try everything and nothing seems to work. I do try until the very end but there are times where classes do mentally wear a person down bit by bit until the end. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
