Green tea has long been touted for its high levels of antioxidants and other healthy nutrients; now a large study shows that drinking a couple of cups of the beverage daily might actually extend your life. Researchers tracked some 40,000 Japanese men and women for up to 11 years and found that those who drank warm green tea daily had lower death rates than those who didn't. So I suggest if you wanted to live a longer life, try drinking green tea.

I have wondered that for some time now and never really tried it, as my question to you is will it cause you to urinate quite frequently. Reason why I am asking is when I drink chamomile tea 4 more times it cause me to frequently wan to urinate and I hate that.

Caffeine is a diuretic, but since most green tea is decaffeinated naturally, this shouldn't compound the problem. However, there is the likelihood that the increased liquid will make you want to go more often. Also, with any cleansing effects, that sometimes makes you feel the need to go more often.

Thanks for sharing that information. I drink tea too. Herbal tea. Aside from the health benefits, I like the taste. I like the taste of boiled plants. I don't know why, maybe because of some psychological reasons like thinking it's healthy.

I have heard that Green Tea is extremely beneficial for ones health. And I have been trying to drink atleast one cup daily, but for some strange reason I can't drink it hot or warm. I know the taste doesn't change because tea is tea, but I can not drink it hot, it either has to be cold or at least in room temperature. Green Tea also helps you loose weight and helps burn fat as well. I would definitely recommend everyone to at least have a cup daily.

I do believe that drinking green tea has herbal benefits. It helps us by giving us natural health nutrients and also detoxify our inner bodies. I do drink ice tea and sparingly green tea. Mine, I love it cold than hot. It is always refreshing to drink a glass or two of these green tea or ice tea when it is iced-cold. I do believe that these tea drinks is also a natural way to keep active and fit since they regulate our need to refresh loss fluid in a more nutrient-filled drink. So drink tea, green tea specifically to a better health.
