When we were born in this world, for sure the most influential person to our little world would be our parents. But we grown up, we will encounter different kinds of people such as teacher, friends, co-workers, relatives or even a movie star and etc. These people do have great influence whether it is positive or negative. I remember, when we were young, even kids in my country loves to watch Bruce Lee and act lie him (sometimes shout like him too).He has became a hero in our little mind when were just small kids.is he a positive influence figure to us? Frankly speaking, I don't know. Perhaps yes and no. The positive side would be his way of thinking and being creative in things though the way he fights. The tendency of never giving up and never afraid of the weakness and win the battle of life. The negative side would be promoting too much violence and try to solve problem by force only. Well, maybe you can share about yours now.

Despite the fact that I am grown up now, I still think that the most influential person in my life has to be my mother. My mother is the most influential person to me because she taught me how to me a mother because of the wonderful example that she gave when I was a child. In addition to that, she has been very influential to me because of the fact that she was able to be a strong mother when she became a widow with three children at a relatively young age.

Dorann, for sure your mother was a strong person and the most influtial person in your life. She deserved all of your love and admire since she raised up a family with difficulty. Everybody knows that being a single mother is just not easy at all. On one hand , she had to worry about the finance of the family and do something about it. On the other hand, she need to deal with all the children's grow up issus and education as well.I think all thses tough situation really made a super woman. I think a woman like that deserve a medal for her and also to honor her wherever you can. I think most of our mothers did really pay lots of effort in raising up the children (of course not including the poor mom in this world). From giving out birth to nthe children to how they raise the children, it wa sjsut a heavy reponsiblity and burden for all the woman. Men would never understand things like that because male had diiffernt thinking pattern than female.I wish we can all honor our mother when they are still alive and weshould always treasure the relationship we have with our mothers. Once she was gone and leave thsi world, we will definately miss her vcery much. Although I am a amn, I still remeber how my mom did her best to raise me up although she was not well educated. When she leaved this world, I cry for her since I can never see her face in this world again. I hope everybody in mylot can treasure the realtionship with thier parents and treat them well in this world. Happy mylot.

For the most influential person in my life there is a tie for first. My parents, my Uncle George, and Mohammad Ali are the winners. My grandparents raised me. They rewarded me for passing from grade to grade in school. They did what parents do. But they influenced me because to them, money was no object when the unfortunate needed anything. Whenever somebody needed a loan, my grandmother and grandfather would loan money to them. My grandmother also donated money. She donated to Boys Town. Thus, I also like to donate money and give to those who might need it. My grandmother was also a babysitter. She had lots of kids around the house and sometimes took them on trips to African Safari. I have been a childhood tutor. My uncle George tried to steer me to God. His major influence on me was when I visited his house. He had bookcases around his desk and he was always studying the Bible. Now I am a book worm and scholar. I have roomfuls of books, I like to do research and write. When I was in grade school, Uncle George tried to get me to use his old typewriter because I might need it some day. I never used it but now since I'm a writer, I type a lot. I did take his advice and take a typing class in high school. I was in junior high school when Mohammad Ali became famous. Although my father was a boxer, I had to learn how to fight on my own. When Ali became famous, I taught myself to fight like him. His biggest influence on me though is how he practiced hard to win. I learned from Ali that if I studied hard in my math, I would be good. Now I'm a math tutor and I've helped people pass their math classes and tests.

Mmmm, I thank God for your grandparents that they have really set up a good example for you to learn how to give to the needy. It is not easy to have a grandparents like that in today's world. Since everybody turns to more reality and materalistic, the parents will only teach their children to get more money all the time. Well, at least it is happening in my city and my country as well. Almost all the parents want their kids to live well in the future by teaching their kids how important that money is for them. This is so sad that the parents only set up such an example to them. I am not saying that money is not important to us, but if we only teach the children keep focus on money, it is not good for our next generation. It is because people will turns to more materalistic and being very selfish. Some may also think that money is everything. On the other hand , I think your uncle George was truely a blessing for you since he set up an example for you to do bible study and get to know God's word when you were young. It is so good to get to know the Lord's word in your early age. For that boxing star, I think he was good in fighting but unfortunately , he has never accept Jesus as his own savior when he was still alive.Anyway, there were always figures who will impact our life , and each character will result in helping us to grow and shape our personality to certain extend. Well, I hope you can help our next generation to grow up with more biblical and positive mind set as well. God bless you and have a nice day.

as we grow older the people that makes a big impact in our lives changes. people that stands as our idols. when i was younger it was my grandfather, he is the jack of all trades as i believe. i felt like he can do anything and he had taught me a lot specially on renovating our house. to paint to fix when the wall has holes and a lot more. as years goes by, i was at the point where i dont have anyone to look up to. but then terminator came out har har har and robocop as well. plus rocky too. i became focus on imitating them so i go to the gym and enrolled myself with boxing. i did not compete but it was fun learning those moves. when i was bullied at school i know how to defend myself. when everyone knows how i handle fights they invited me to join their gang. but i am not for those things. now that i am a father already i want my son to be proud of me.
