I don't remember anything like that in particular. However, last week I had a bike wreck and immediately my thumb felt like it was broken. It hurt so bad that I didn't know my knee was bleeding and it was hurt. Then about two days later, I couldn't hardly move. I didn't know my back was hurt too! It took a couple of days to figure out I really had a pretty bad wreck!

The brain easily catches what's we tend to believe. Self preservation, pain and hurt are the top most priority that our brain has effect since it tends to be in panic mode and then we feel the pain. Ever tried walking in the dark and suddenly you have bumped your feet and you feel nothing but when you see in the light that you have blood and was wounded, you started to panic and wanted medical attention immediately? So it is then lately perceived. If the pain is not that much, we feel the pain in delay after only our brain grasp that something is wrong with our body. Also, one side of this is infection. When we have wound sometimes it gets infected later. And this infection gives us the pain and hurting sensation and this become more evident in a couple of days. Yes, this thing I already experience. When I have a wound and that it seems nothing and then a few days or hours the pain is felt and afterwards I have seen that the wound gets some infection. I do know it is time for me to take antibiotics.

I got burned pretty bad on my chest. Boiling oil decided to jump off the pan. Later I felt something wet, I got blisters and all. ONly felt the pain after the blister popped. OUch. Now I don't know if this will turn into a keloid.

Yea i have also experienced this but a long ago as i have not got any wound in recent times. Sometime we get wounded and we don't even realize that and after some time it starts to pain. I really don't know the reason of this. but maybe as we come to know about this it starts hurting. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.
