We all know this line, we all hear it from parents or friends, but we never take it seriously. I generally get annoyed when everyday my mom appears before me with an apple after lunch, telling this and that it will help you reduce fat. I really don't know if this is really true. What do you think?

Apple really is a good fruit . I do like it . But one thing is that in India , especially , in its southern part where I live , Apple are too costly . And in India , apple is a seasonal fruit and is majorly grown only during winters because the rest of the year , sun is so bright . So we don't get the chance of tasting apples every day . There is a human tendency to get bored of eating the same thing daily . Abundance of apples has caused you a reversion from apples . But is surely a good fruit and is good for health . So better eat it :)

I think it is true. I don't get to eat the fruit too often, but I frequently drink apple juice at breakfast time, and also in the afternoons when I get thirsty. It certainly is very refreshing, and keeps the cold away. I keep a bottle of apple juice at home, and also in my office.

I thik that that is just a saying to mean the apples are good and have vitamins and minerals. But so do other foods. In ancient times, many fruits could not be had most of the year (if ever). Now we can eat fruit all year around. So that the apple saying is not as true anymore.
