Creature comforts

Is there anything that you need to have for example at your workstation or your desk at home when you are at work which gives you a sense of comfort and which helps you to be at your best when you are at work. For example a family picture next to your desk, your favourite mug to drink from, some motivational posters, a Bible etc. For myself, I have my favourite mug and some of my own favourite photographs. Do share your thoughts on this. Thanks.

hi Veejay, seems like you are a minimalist and do not really need creature comforts of any nature, haha.

hi Hatley, I think it is always good to have pics of ourselves and family to remind us of happy moments. Try to fish them out, scan them and use as screensaver or wallpaper if not already done!

Everywhere and anywhere I have worked I have to have my children's pictures. It always gave me comfort to see their smiling faces. It also attracted many people to my office as they stared at my beautiful kids pictures. After leaving a company I would have a special box where I would put the pictures and have them ready for my new office.

yup I think it is always nice to see children's pictures (a good reminder of child-like innocence in the stressed environment that is the workplace).
