Do you think Facebook has become an addiction to some users and is unhealthy?

Facebook is a very interesting application but it is being misused by many people who are spending excessive amounts of time on it per day. Some cannot get away from the screen and come back after a few minutes to check any updates. Some want to post everything and anythign that happens to them on Facebook wall. This is unhealthy and practically an addiction. What do you think? Do you know of people who are doing this?

Yeah, many people seems addicted to facebook. And due to this addiction, many people buy a smart phone so they can kept up to date to their FB. Come on, is it necessary to post everything you do? Eg. I'm sitting alone having lunch. Enjoy partying with friends. So boring. Long queue at the clinic. The lecture so boring I feel want to sleep. Come on. Why need to tell everything we do to the world. It just absurd. For me I rather spend time making money on my lot or other site. Spending so much time in facebook only make the owner getting more richer while we are stalled because we don't have time to do something useful.

i think that anything in excess is bad or unhealty. as someone once told me, facebook shouldn't control people's lives, people should control facebook.

It depends on what they're spend time on facebook. I think if they're spend much time to promote their web or blog to get money with facebook that is a good thing but if they're spend much time just to explore their "privacy" or their "emotion" it's a bad thing. I think there's 2 typical person in facebook. #1 someone who controling facebook in their live. and the #2 is someone who controled by facebook. so which one is us? :)
