Sarah Palin's Alaska!

United States

We are sitting in front of the television watching Sarah Palin's Alaska on The Learning Channel. My grandsons went to Alaska for a 9 day visit in August and wanted to watch to see if they could see places they had visited. My wife and I wanted to see it because we expect some to ridicule the show because Sarah is a lightening rod in the media and we wanted to form our own opinion. Will you watch the program at all? Why or why not?

No, I'm not watching it and have no interest in it. I'm not a big fan of nature shows in the first place and not a fan of Palin's at all. I hope that your grandsons see some of the areas they visited while watching the show though. I think that would be pretty cool.

They were very pleased to see shot of Denali National Park. That is one of the places they visited. Plus there was a shot of a K2 plane that landed on a glacier. They did that too!

We watched the first episode, and enjoyed it, but we were wishing there was less repetition of scenes.

No will not be watching anything to do with Alaska or the Palins. Can't stomach her and her voice. I curse the day that McCain brought her into the forefront. She is nothing but alot of trouble in my opinion, a wannabe ruler of the free world with no real smarts to back her up with.

Thanks for taking the time, your response is one of the reasons we decided to watch. I wanted to see for ourselves, to listen for ourselves rather that just take what others say about her.
