After 2 years, i am deciding to get rid and sell my nokia 3120 cellphone. Although it is still in a good working condition and I loved my nokia 3120..it has 3G feature, Multi-media, bluetooth, FM radio, 2 MP camera and up to 8 GB micro SD card, I will sell it in order to buy a new cellphone with dual sim/dual standby feature. I am not decided yet which new cellphone model to buy but my priority is to first sell my old one so that I will have the funds to buy a new one. Isn't that a good idea? Anyway, despite that i will miss my nokia, i will be excited to meet my future cell phone!! How about you mylotters, have you gotten rid of your old cellphones? If yes, how did you do it and why?

until now i've used many kinds of cells. symbian,wm,Android,Non-smart etc. my advice to u is think about ur goal 1st. so u just want to play game?listen music?business use?photograph?being cool? as my opinion, i pefer to take a more simple and long standby cellphone.

thank you for your advice. actually my priority really is to have a cellphone with a dual sim card / dual standby feature since i am using two different numbers / two different network provider. well, i guess i could settle with that. happy mylotting and welcome desger!

I still have this Nokia 1110i from way back. I plan to acquire another with a GPS capability but the price is still prohibitive. My old one may belong to another era but I still find it useful in making calls, sending text messages, making conversions, countdown timer, stopwatch and many others. This old thing can really do a lot of things. It is durable too.

i agree and i believe so too rog.. i noticed that those old cellphone models are really more durable. i used to have my nokia 5110 and nokia 3650, i gave them to my niece and nephew..until now they are in a good working condition. cool, huh? basically, those units are very much useable when it comes to the basics of communication..thanks for the post.

I have not ever sold my old phones, as I would either keep them, or I would send them to be recycled. I like that idea a lot, and I don't know how many providers do that, but I know t-mobile does and also verizon. I have a lot of phones that I have kept, and I guess you could say they are souvenirs. I always figured if I needed a back up phone I would have one. I have never used them though once they got deactivated, so they wouldn't do me any good anyway. I hope you find the phone that suits you best, Take care, and have a very good day.

Every year i buy new phone but i don't sell my old one because i will miss it even it is not working good. I feel sad every time that i think i will sell my old phone so i just choose to keep it. I just let my mom, father,or sisters to borrow it so it will still be useful. I also have 3120 before and it really good and it is more easy typing text message in that phone.
