well i am being honest.when bhajji scored back to back centuries,my first thought was FINALLY WE GOT A BOWLER WHO CAN HIT QUICK HUNDREDS. then came the thought. is he showing the same consistency in bowling? he scored more than 270 runs in this series but got only 5 wickets. are we to take it that he will improve in his bowling as he is in batting? or are we going to create another irfan who came into the side as a bowling all-rounder and went out as a batting-allrounder?

I think he is very good in batting as well as in batting, he is not going to turn to Irfan, if you see his bowling figures, he is also impressive against Aus and SA, so I think back to back centuries means he is also getting confidence in batting too and he turning into one of the best all rounders in the world. I ll say, Go Bhajji Goooo... Have a nice day dear...:)

Hello stardustcdsd, I don't agree with you that he hasn't performed as bowler in past few series. Remember the Eden test this year against South Africa. He wrapped up the South African. Even the ongoing test in the first innings he pouched 4 wickets. he is still one of the best around. Rather you should appreciate being India's strike bowler he is plyaing as good as a batsman. Go Bhajji go.

I would say he is more of a bowling all rounder, meaning a bowler who can bat. Like what Shane Warne was for Australia.

Harbhajan is a punjabi and punjabis can do wonders anytime! lolzz..jokes apart, I think Bhajji should never forget his "job A" because, we can have find and unleash a lot of talent in batting for our dear Indian cricket team but to find a gem spinner like him, is not going to be that easy! To my mind, he should follow in the steps of Shane Warne-a player who can easily sail his team through any odds..Batting, bowling, fielding, or anything.... He should simply be the best BOWLER(spinner) who can not just bat but also lead the team when needed. Bhajji has achieved this success not bcoz he practiced a lot to hone his bating talent but bcoz, it's the WIN for India that matters to him...!!! It's that spirit to WIN for India - come what may- that has helped him unleash his talent as a great batsman..ahaan...a great sportsman....!! And guyz, please don't worry if he has got only 5 wickets in this series....It's ok..we all know that he's a great spinner and he will come back to his awesome bowlign form very soon.... Cheers for Bhajji :)

At least he is contributing to our country. it's not the matter whether it's bowling or batting. Have a nice day.

Hi Star, Depending upon a condition, a batsman can turn into bowler or bowler can turn into batsman. These conditions will take place when their team need them desperately. They will need to give their best in batting or bowling. So under pressure conditions Harbhajan was able to score consecutive centuries. His bowling has been not good because both pitches are not in favor for bowling.Irfan was not able to succeed with his batting or bowling. He showed some inconsistency. But Harbhajan is the key bowler for the current Indian team .If he turns out to be batsman then it will be difficult for the Indian team to continue their winning streak. Have happy day.

I think he is the next Irphan in making. He is contributing but he needs to concentrate on the bowling He is the spear head of Indian spin in this given time. If he is going to fail in his bowling he is not going to be in this Indian team for sure

Seems the wickets are supporting batsmen rather than bowlers. That's why Harbhajan was able to connect the balls. And that's why he couldn't take more wickets. I think, Harbhajan's batting is free style. He can be called a Hard hitter, but not an allrounder now. He has to go a long way to become an allrounder.

Bhajji has been struggling with the bowl for quite some time now , but i would say its a bad phase for him and he will be back to taking lots of wickets for India once again .Saqlain Mushtaq the spin wonder form Pak , his case was quite similar to Bhajji he also needed some bounce from wicket to trouble the batsman .If there is bounce in wicket your top spinner has very high chances of getting a bat pad or catch at slip.Thats why at Eden gardens Bhajji always does well and he struggles on pitches which are slow and dosent have any bounce like this pitch at Hyderabad on which current match is going on.Bhajji certainly has to think about more options to pick wickets but the temperament of Bhajji is keeping him in the game and same temperament can make him a strike bowler once again.I would not call him another Pathan as i dont think Irfan Pathan is fit enough to play international cricket again ,but Bhajji is fit and enthusiastic so i hope that he will bounce back .

I could never imagine that bhajji will score a century and that too in this fashion. One century was sufficient to convince us that he could bat, but now he is batting like a top order batsman. I wish he could continue batting like this, India will certainly not have to look for an all rounder. As far as his bowling is concerned, he will do good. He is a established bowler and he has worked hard on his bowling skills, I am a fan of Irfan Pathan, but, I feel that his bowling is depends on the swings and the pace. He does not have the skills so that he can control the batsman without his natural swing, that's why he turned a batting all-rounder after his swing vanished. That will never be the case with Bhajji, he is a hard working spinner who can bat as well. Let's hope that he can fill in the position of much awaited all-rounder, let it be batting or bowling all rounder. All that matters is his contribution to the Indian team. All the best, Bhajji (48 more to go, LOL) !!!!

I think Harbhajan, is the next all-rounder in the indian team. I don't think to compare a person to another person. Every one has a personal quality, which is god gifted. Yesterday Harbhajan play like king of Punjab. He help to avoid the shame small scores of world no 2 test team. Last 2 test he play a unbelievable innings. He is also a good bowler. So, i think Team India has got there next all-rounder.
