In the modern times,"Open Minded" means differently for different individual.

Some time it is expected that an individual will do some unusual things in a gathering which is called Open Minded. If you are still not able to understand, let me go a step further with a open minded way.
Get that girl who is sitting there alone. She is 'just waiting for you' because she is open minded. Now if you are a man, just act like an open minded person and who knows, you will make your night tonight.
Now, this is just an example which comes as a first thought in every person in the world on this subject.
Will put more such examples on today's world so called 'openness' and invite you all to put your comments.
Please be open minded in putting your thoughts.

I think that really, judging people by who they are and rather any preconceived notions that you might have is basically what being opened minded is to me. There are a lot of times where we think of people in a certain light. Its not right but at the same time, it is unfair to ignore it. There are going to be times where we are going to prejudge people.
However, if we get to know them, give them a chance to make an impression, then that is what open minded. Now granted, the impression might not be good. In fact, it might be worse then what we previously have experienced with whatever stereotype. However giving people a chance to sink or swim is what being open minded is. Also judging people by your own experiences, as opposed to what others might believe. That varies but to me, that's what open minded. Of course we got to be open minded about being open minded as well.
