Why everyone is talking about facebook?

Hey besides facebook there are many other social networking sites we can make friend with like Myspace, orkut, yuwie, twitter and many more. But why do we use facebook? Is it because its easy to use or is it because there are more options like status, links, videos updates and sharing information etc.
These features are also available in other networks but why facebook? why :)

It's because of the games that I got hooked to facebook long time ago, but I'm over it now and I rarely open it. I'm always on twitter because i can post decent things without reading people's proud posts in facebook.

If the games you're talking about then let me tell you that there is one such game from which you can earn credits, in facebook. Its called Hello City. Just go and search the game and you'll see at the upper right hand side a button for "earn 5 free credits" or something like that. Its really great that facebook is offering just great things even in their games section. There must be other ways to earn credits so that we can participate more in facebook! Heads up facebook

Facebook allows application from every site...Even if you want to play cool online games, they have a small icon on the sidebar "Share This On Facebook" or something like that. So how about that? This feature of facebook is more reliable than other networks and exceeds its usage to the top level.

Personally for me, I feel Facebook is one of the places where you can truly be yourself and not have to worry. Yes, there are the CREEPY type like some of the other sites, but Facebook is a great place to meet others, and reconnect with friends from way back as well. I also personally use Facebook to promote my Business as well and it works good for me.

They are the in things and have many wonderful games and application. They are the number 1 networking site in the world despite of privacy issues and security lapses they are still very effective to do networking and socialization. The things I like you could control who the people to see you or not and some hide option and other choices which is lacking in other social networking sites. they are also fast ahead with many ideas compare to other sites which have server and delay issues too..

Facebook is international and it caters to users worldwide. ON top of that, it's created by an American and so the popularity. IN the world, that's how the world moves. Most people likes thing new, fresh and interesting. Facebook is the latest networking site among those u mentioned. Before Fb came out, isn't MSN the hottest networking site, then followed by yuwie and others?

I guess that's because facebook has quite a lot of games which are popular among the teenagers I guess
