I have none of them. I am thinking of having either of them. But I am confused which one I should have. Is it fish or cat? Which is better pet? If you have experience having any of them please share your experience with me so that I can pick the right one. Happy mylotting.

Hi,JackRoy! For me,I believe cat is a better pet.Since they are more active and tender.I don't have a cat in my home, either.Because my mother wants everything to be neat. And she is not really into any pet thing. But I'm thinking about having one after I begin living on my own(I'm still a student now). And I love the feeling that when I get home,my little kitten will come to me and curl up near my feet. And when I feel its furs,it will groan like a little baby. I have had fish as my pets before.Yeah, for sure, they are quiet and won't cause much trouble since they don't run about or knock anything down like cats do.But maybe it's because they are always in the bowl and I can never feel their emotions that I don't love them. It is really up to you to decide which one to choose as your pet, really. If you want quietness and prefer the room to be always clean and tidy, choosing fish will be a good thing. But if you want to have a real company, cat seems to be a better choice. Have a nice day!

I have had fish before myself, and i know people who have cats as pets. I prefer fish as they are easier to look after and take less of your time up than a cat.... they are also cheaper to care for. With cats they are nice pets but you need to be prepared to either get insurance for them or pay vet bills at unexpected times like you would with a dog. They are quite easy to look after as they go out quite alot and come back as they like but its just the vet bills and cost that concerns me aswell as when we go on holiday. With the fish we had... we could put a holiday block in the tank and they would be ok throughout the time we were away from home but its a little more complicated with a cat. Cats are nice pets for children, a little better than fish.. aslong as you train them not to scratch the kids.

It depends how big place do you have for cat? For fish you don`t need so big place but you will need lots of equipment, like aquarium, filters, adn so on. Also cats and fish is completly different kind of pets, fish you have at one box and thats it, they are static, cat is more mobile, you could take it with you, you could pet them. I have at home turtles in aquarium and I could tell you that its hard to care about it.

I think if you just want a pet that you just watch and feed, you should get a wish, they are much easier to take care of- you just need to clean their bowl a few times a week. But if you want a pet that you can really touch and play with, get a cat instead. They are sometimes hard to take care of but they are also fun pets....

I think Dog is best but if you want to know between fish and cat then cat is best. I have a cat and I give the milk daily morning and if I am late then they loudly meu meu. I like she.

Well it really depends on if you want a very easy pet to take care of to a pet that requires a bit more to care for. A fish is simple and is to care for all you have to do is feed it twice a day and clean it's tank once or twice a week and they aren't that expensive(dependeing on what type of fish you get) A cat however is a bit trickier, you have to train it to go pee outside or in the litter box and have to look after way more then you do a fish and you'll have to spend more money on things such as litter box, bag or canned food, toys, care products etc. So if you want a pet that you don't have to do much for I'd say go for the fish but if you want something that will actually respond back to you go for the cat :)
