Why do Successful BLACK WOMEN remain single in this day and age????

Well, that is just a generalization IMO. Thing is, successful people tend to move away from marriage because it is obsolete and creates more problems than it solves. This is a good thing. Also, successful people, often seeing themselves as such, have pretty high expectations of a life partner. No matter who they date, they will probably have one expectation which is just not met. Now, about men running away from successful women... that is mostly because a man is trained to be the provider from before he can think. Yes, even today. It is still acceptable for a woman to be supported by a man, but not the other way around. [sarcasm]Double standards are great fun.[/sarcasm] Many men thus have a big problem with being with a higher-earning woman, because they perceive that position as unmanning. Ridiculous? Yes. Happens anyway? Indeed it does. This cuts both ways, however. Black women are a traditionally disfavored, poor and persecuted demographic of dependents, and when a black woman coming from such a background makes a good life for herself through her own efforts she might become arrogant and curl her nose at men whom she has outperformed, labeling them as deadbeats not worth her attention. Even if a relationship does start, success-oriented people are often patronizing and sometimes just plain annoying!

They love themselves way too much. Its not just black women its all women who are successful. They just can't find the guy they feel like they can look up too. Cause once they start a relationship with a guy they feel like its lower or at the same level that they are in, they tend to look down at them like its their child. They won't be able to get everything they want in need.
