Speaker Pelosi has created a new congressional leadership position with a car and driver and staff for Rep. Jim Clayborn. Now Senator Reid created a new position for Senator Schumer. My question is who is gong to pay for the staff and other perks that go with the position? If the Democrat Party is paying I have no problem but if it is the US Taxpayer then I have a real problem.

Of course, she's making these new positions to avoid having them challenge her for minority leader. It's amazing how they can figure out ways to grow the government, no matter what we do. I have to believe there will be funding voted upon to pay for all the new staff and frills of the offices. This is a great point and I am going to try to find out how these things are paid for and how much her desperate bid to hold onto power is going to cost us.

Actually, it was Harry Reid who made the new position for Schumer, for reasons other than holding onto power. But Pelosi, who many thought would step down and whose place would be taken by Steny Hoyer, had to compensate Hoyer by making him minority Whip and that left Clyburn in the cold. So, they needed a new spot for Clyburn.

Of course it is going to be the taxpayer who pays for this mess.
For these clowns to create unneeded positions for no good reason whatsoever is just further proof that they have no business being in office.
This just goes to show that there is a lot more house cleaning to be down.
