Can .war files for 64 bit machines be used on 32 bit machines?

I'm installing something for a 32 bit machine. I have this .war file that I need to use. I'm using a 32 bit machine, hence installing a 32 bit software, while a colleague using a 64 bit machine, installed the same software that is the 64 bit version. His installation went smoothly and he is able to use the software without problem. I however am experiencing problems. The .war file isn't executing properly. I was thinking that maybe the .war file is sensitive to the OS behavior (32 bit or 64 bit)

that's not about the "sensitivity" but it's about where the program made. You can running a 32 bit software in 64 bit machine ,but you can not running 64 bit software in 32 bit machine ,your processor can't handle it.

Hi dear, Yes, as per my knowledge, it is giving error because it doesn’t support 64-bit. The software will work only on 64-bit environment and not 32-bit. It is better to try for the same with a 32-bit support one, so that the program may run smoothly or you may need to update your machine to 64-bit. Best regards, Thank-s
