I keep a well stocked pantry most of the time. Don't like to start to make something & lack an ingredient. Have a happy weekend.

I also like to have saltines around - they're simple, tasty and go well with lots of soups. Soups, also, are things I like to have stocked up. Canned soups and other canned foods come in handy because they're not easily perishable and you can get a lot of tasty options with them. Aside from that, I like packaged noodles. They're terrible for you (haha), but they're definitely tasty, and like canned foods, take a long, long while to go bad.

Indeed saltines are a great food that go with pretty much everything. Or nothing at all in fact, just eating them on their own is great too. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Well in Florida we do not stock up on foods unless a hurricane is approaching. We do not get snow so no stocking up on canned goods or bottled water. I think it is great not having to do this and worry if a snow storm is coming or approaching, i think hurricane season is enough for us to worry about since we are located between two big oceans of water. Hope you have fun mylotting today.

Down in Florida you get hurricanes, which could be an even bigger concern than snow. We just get buried in our own houses and have to shovel ourselves out. Still very important things to stock up for Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I like to keep canned goods stocked in my cupboards for the winter months. I like to keep a lot of soups on hands. Soups are something good for everyone when the snow starts to blow. If we are stranded in our houses due to the weather, it's good to know we can have something nutritious and delicious to fall back on.@megamatt (14290)

It is always to have something to stock up on. Even if we can get out, it might not be advised to go on the roads. And the store is often times shut down due to the fact that no one can get there to open it. So its good to plan ahead. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I do not really stock up for winter. Maybe I should start though? It's something that makes a lot of sense when you think about it...

Yes it does, especially when all of the stores are closed because of severe storms. So it does make a lot of sense all things considered. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I suppose you and I thought alike there. I normally buy about 20-30 cans of Pringles for the winter time for snacks while they are on sale at Wal-mart and Kroger.

Yeah I always look for those ten for ten specials for Pringles that they have at Kroegers from time to time. There can be some good deals. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
