My poem There Was A Little Flower

Flowers don't talk - Flowers don't need to speak for you to know that you are there.

So it is with our lives .. we need not say much .. but like flowers

let our lives our actions speak for us. Joy

There was a Little Flower who was simple and quite small Who despite her imperfections chose to give her all. Stretching forth her petals, she kept her thoughts above She was heard to whisper: "I love everyone in God's Love" When the storms of time came and soaked her little body She simply raised her voice and gave praise to Jesus name And even though she was not strong, she trusted in God's grace Which would lead all her actions and shine upon her face. There were never any exceptions in the LIttle Flower's mind For the love she had been given was to be shared with all mankind. Everyone who knew her could sense her gentle love For everything she did was done for God above. Her life was but only a lesson on just how far our love must go For it is only in loving one another that our love for God will show. (C) 2010 Joy Pachowicz

Wow! This is such a nice poem. I though at first it was about a tradegy, but reading on, I really liked it. How you used a little flower as a metaphor for loving people and loving God

Yes .. little flower is a metaphor or a loving soul who makes it her one aim to spread the lover of God everywhere she goes.
