when i at the age of 11 years old i always love reading any kind of books; pocketbooks(either tagalog or English),reader's digest, magazines, newspapers, leaflets. when i went to my high school days i interest reading books whose movie-makers make movies from that books such as DA Vinci code, harry potter, lord of the rings, eclipse, chronicles of Narnia.yet, people says reading books is tiring, they prefer to watch that movie and another series of that book came out they prefer to wait than it came out to the movie than to read it from books. still, for me, there are times that i am more prefer to read that certain books coz i can play it on my own way of thinking and it is fully detailed than the movie.compare to that movie w/c sometimes or often, that it play & act more over acting to what you are expected coz you know the whole story, in the first place. ?????????? try to analyze which is more informative to read a story from the books which fully detailed movie-makers get from it, or watching movies, yeah it is lively to watch it coz its like to the reality yet it is not fully detailed for the reason that it may be shortened coz of the time limit.

Reading books is definitely a lot MORE informative. And ofcourse I'd prefer reading the book rather than just rely on its movie. Actually, what I(most people) do, is read first the book before watching its movie, it's an advantage. You get to understand the story better if you read the book first, because you're absolutely right - most novel-based movies're cut short, so definitely you might not get the story at all, ending in disappointment. Harry Potter movies disappoint me MOST! haha.

I am a movie fan. I prefer movies over books. I used to be begind in reading at school becauae if I didn't find the subject interesting , i wouldn't read it. Finally when I was in mt teens I got to read What I wanted and got on level. Reading isn't tiring . I just don't find any stories I want to read. Sadly I don't see many films I want to see these days either.

for me movie is the best because if you only read a books you cant imagine what is the true happen on the story. but still the if you read a books it has a full story about the book unlike the movie it is only a remake and summary only.
