Star Stuck! Is it a glitch?

Hi mylotters. I don't know if there is a problem or people just dont rate discussions + or - anymore. I have been stuck to 8 stars for 2 months now! It is exactly 82 / 100 and not moving a even single point. Are you experiencing it too? Or is it just me?

I was a ten about 2 months ago as well. Then one day I dropped to nine and for two months have been stuck there as well. I do believe people are simply not rating and well nothing we can actually do about it.
I know it can't be a glitch as I see others increasing and decreasing as I am on here quite a bit. Anway damed_dle I am plugging you with the (+) and hope it helps a little

Thank you very much! I am also puzzled by members with only 500 posts having 10 stars! Makes me jealous.

I have been 8 for almost 2 years 
The higher your number the more plusses it takes to move your star up because it is based on percentages. When you first join and have only a few posts, plusses make it move quicker. When you have been more active you will need more plusses to make it rise.

Yes.
If you have 10 posts and receive 10 plusses your star will move up quicker than when you have 1000 posts and you receive 10 plusses.

The more posts you have, the more difficult it is to change the number of the star. Simple maths, friend.
But don´t worry. You have your faithful friends here. Keep on posting and forget about ratings. By the way, I almost never rate.

I got stuck at 96/100, but that's fine than going back to 95. well, stupid me for being aggressive in political discussions back in the 2010 elections

Your reputation is how other people rate you, it moves up or down if people plus or minus your posts. That's all I know about it.
