Megamind or Saw 4????

I took the boys (9and 11) to see Megamind this yesterday afternoon. You should have seen all the mothers and dads hustling their kids out of the theater when the
projectionist mistakenly began Saw 4 instead of the pg animated flick!
Ever have anything like that happen?

We went to see one of the earlier Harry Potter movies, and, after sitting through 20 minutes of previews, there was no movie at all! The manager came out and said that the movie was being pulled by headquarters because of low performance (it had been out for quite a while), and, even though they had the movie ready to play, they were forbidden to play it. So we all left! We did get our money back, though. What a let-down for the kids (and for us).
I took my boys (8 & 9) to see Megamind, too. I definitely would have left in a hurry if Saw 4 popped up instead. We loved Megamind, though.

Wow, I never heard of such a thing! That would be disheartening for the kids for sure!

I don't know about any that left without seeing the movie when it was changed to Megamind. But I did see one man chiding the manager as we left. I would not be surprised if he got some passes.

Yes, it really happened. Most of the audience left the theater and the employees at the cinema quickly made the correction. It was only a five minute or so delay. But what the kids saw was pretty gruesome.
