2010 American Music Awards

Well, the show just ended here for me and I couldn't really watch all of it because the guys wanted to watch the football games, however I caught a few performances (Ushers, Bon Jovi, Kesha, Pink, Black Eye Peas). I liked a few of them, some had some interesting aspects and they did my favorite songs. Most of the winners were predictable.
I guess I miss the adventure of watching these kind of shows. I mean, there use to be performances that were over the top and beyond anything you can imagine. Then there were the performances that were stripped down and raw which really touch you. And there use to be mind blowing duets- between two artists that you would never put together or would hope to see together. I guess the Backstreet Boys/New Kids on The Block performance was their "surprising" duet (even though it was no surprise since they've been advertising it).
What did you think? Did you bother to watch? What was your favorite part of the award show?

I watched only a little of the show. I saw Rihanna (she was horrible as usual)and I saw the Black Eyed Peas, they were corny. I even watched the entire Kid Rock performance only because he sang about my home town Detroit. I wanted to see Usher perform but unfortunately I missed him (I'll probably see it on youtube)...Anyway, all the award shows this year have been crap. I miss Beyonce :(

I missed Kid Rock's performance (but I'm not a big Kid Rock fan to begin with) and I'm sure you will be able to find Usher's performance on youtube. Beyonce has been kinda absent from the shows this year. Where is she?

Beyonce took a break. She has been on vacation for the past year. I'm pretty sure she will be putting out another album soon...You never know how much you miss someone until they're gone, lol. (I can't wait to see her world concert that's gonna air on Thanksgiving.)

i haven't seen it yet. i only saw the backstreet boys/new kids on the block duet. it's pretty good but not so spectacular. i heard justin bieber won the most. i don't really like him so i'm not so keen on watching it.
