What do you all think of the show sister wives on TLC. The show is a reality show that follows a family of poligimist. There is the husband Kody and his 3 wives. They have been together ranging for 16 to 20 years. They have 13 children between the 3 wives and Kody is the father of them all. All the children have been raised with 3 women as moms or Kodys wifes. Each children as thier mom and the the other moms. He recently married a 4th wife and brought her and her 3 children into the relationship. This lifestyle is not for me and I am much to I guess you could say jelous for this. I would not want to share my man, spend less time with him so others could spend more time with him. However I have been watching the show and I can understand the appeal to some women. Having other women to help out around the house and with the children would be nice, also always having a best friend around someone to always talk to would be awsome. It would be wierd as a kid I would think. But then again sif you were raised around it, then I guess it would feel very normal and not be wierd at all. What do you think of the show sister wives? What do you think of the lifestyle?

I really like the show a lot. Much like the fictional family on "Big Love", I think what they're doing by going public is great. The more this lifestyle is hidden, the more abuses happen like forced/underage marriages. You can tell these people are nothing like that. I actually like the wives much more than I do Kody. He comes off as sort of buffoonish to me. I like the fact that they wear normal clothes, and seem like the type of women it would be fun to be friends with. As far the the lifestyle, it's definitely not for me, but to each his or her own. They're not hurting anyone, they want their daughters to go to college (unlike some other fundamentalist families), so I have no problem with it. My only question is, how do they afford all that stuff? Their cars are expensive, their furniture is expensive... that's the only thing I don't get.
