N. Korea hitting S. Korea start of World War? Prophecies?

Bulgarian "prophet" - This is the famous Vangelia Gushterova also known as Baba Vanga. She was born in the year 1911 and died in the year 1996. When she was 12, she got struck with a raging storm and became blind.

Have you guys ever heard of Vangelia Gushterova? Or otherwise known as Baba Vanga. She's a "prophet" from Bulgaria who accurately predicted 9/11. But she wasn't alive to see 9/11 happen. She is blind right now also. One of her predictions was that World War III would begin in November 2010 and that radioactive fallout will destroy the entire Northern Hemisphere. This event is pretty astonishing! North Korea has actually fired on it's sister country South Korea. This is a dire event. Many people are worrying and scared for these people. What do you think about both things?

WW III did not start the last time with Korea. Or for Vietnam. Or for Afghanistan. I wouldn't be to quick to cry WW III! We've got a lot of "prophets" in the world, some have long passed away. My grandma didn't start crying until war was declared when we went into WW II. That took Hitler to start it. Many countries would have to be invaded first before a world war could be declared. The US allies would have to have a lot invested in the fight before the US would become involved. This is Korea. Many countries have nothing to protect there.

I have never heard of her. Unless her record is 100% accurate I wouldn't worry too much about it...especially since November is almost over and this isn't the first time North and South Korea have gone at it. It would also take quite a few extremely large nuclear bombs to create enough fallout to destroy the entire Northern Hemisphere.

Prophecies, predictions are an important way of looking at the social climate of our time. But I would contend that experience is a far more potent force than that. The horrific experience of humanity during the two great wars make countries, even heated rivals, like North and South Korea, would not necessarily move to the next phase which is war. Given that they already experience the savage nature war through the Sino - Japanese War, World War I and the Korean War.

Dear friend, I do feel myself bit bitter, when I know news like these. May be lots of negative activities people do to this world is another fact. Still humans killing humans, moreover lots of innocent people are becoming victims of these kinds of attacks. Lots of kids, children and babies, those do not even know for what they are been become victims for, just remember those Nakasaki and Hiroshima attacks. Even those things gives a shock, that was way back, but now those deadly things have development for more deadly attacks.

I've never heard of such a prophet. But thanks for the information. I'll check out this prophecy later in details. With regards to the North Korea hitting the South, I find it awful and alarming. They're both Koreans and quite powerful too. Hopefully, this won't be the beginning of any other more attacks initiated by any of the parties. That prediction really sounds scary and I don't think it would come to a world war 3.

The existing president of North Korea want to unit the North and South of Korea before he passes the President post to his son. From the first day the North Korea sunk the South Korea battleship, and followed by their visit to the China, we can judge out their intention obviously. North Korea should be out from this world. I hate to be a communist. Luckily my country was saved from being the communist.

I don't hope that will get the fuse of World War III.

Provoking people to take sides is what happens in the political atmosphere. If you actually just take people who just try to live and survive there will be a total different attitude. I do not take to this kind of provoking anymore. I would rather talk to the people of the land instead of the people of the political ones. You get to know they are no different than any other human on this earth. Trying to get along, live, be with family, and survive the outcome of these political outcomes. Where the rich get richer and the rest struggle for the left overs. Many predictions over many years, some have come true, some have not. Who you believe in is a choice. Some I feel are made to make people do things to help rich get richer and the rest struggle for the simple things of life. Regardless of the predictions life still moves forward after, that is what we should do, LIVE

This is a totally unprovoked attack and the South had return fire as well. I am not sure if the North has any nuclear weapon and if they have and decided to fire one, I dread to think of the consequences. The other worrying issue is if China who is backing the North and USA for the South get involved in it. That will surely means World War III.

After having talked to some South Koreans I know, I think people are reading in too much into this development. I could be wrong though, but I sincerly hope I am not! That said, I try not to take prophecies like the one you mentioned too seriously. The world would be way too scary otherwise, and sometimes it is better not to know what will happen.
