Detroit Red Wings - Lord Stanley 2010/2011

I have been a Detroit Red Wings fan for nearly thirty-five years. Over that time frame, I have enjoyed the good years, as well as the not so great years. Most recently, the Wings have been very successful. They have been in the playoffs 25 of the last 27 years, with their last Stanley Cup win in 2008. I truly believe the Wings will continue their success in 2011 by bringing Lord Stanley back to Detroit. Let me know if you agree or disagree.

I would like to believe that the Vancouver Canucks will have something to say about that. Today, the Canucks are number one overall in the NHL, tied with 3 other teams in points but have played the fewest games. The Canucks are following the Red Wings template by playing 4 lines with no goon players plus lots of Swedish players. It could come down to a relaxed Roberto Luongo vs Jimmy Howard.
