how does mylot base their payment again?

i have another ptp network and they are paying their members through reply and post no matter how long or short so, people are often unenthusiastic to talk to...from what i remember mylot pays for the lenght and substance of the reply or post? please enlighten me if im wrong. Thank you!

The system is very complex and there are a number of things factored in (for example, we are told that "The Discussion Rating System is factored into our proprietary earnings algorithm, so this will help us properly reward valuable contributions to the myLot community." http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq17.aspx
We are also told in the Guidelines not to "Post anything that inaccurately explains the myLot earnings algorithm. Our myLot mathematicians have worked long and hard on our elaborate payment system and we wouldn’t want any of our users to make them feel inadequate by breaking their algorithm in minutes."
