. . .how do you get yourself to go to bed earlier? I keep meaning to go to bed early so that I will not be so tired when I get up for work in the morning; however, night after night when I look down at the clock I once again find that it has reached a late hour. Help me break this cycle.

One way to do it is to skip sleeping one night/morning. You'll feel tired and cranky for most of the day. But, don't worry, you'll be able to sleep through that night... Might be a good idea to do this over a weekend.

I do exactly the same thing. I try to get to bed by no later than midnite, but here tonite, it's 12:30 and I'm still up. Sometimes I'll just jump up at 10:30 or 11 and go on to bed even tho I don't want to. I just cherish the later hours so much, because I usually can't spend over an hour a day on the internet, and I'm trying to earn. It's my job. So in the evenings after everything's settled down, I finally get to spend some serious time online. I hate to give that up, cause I go to Mom's in another city and stay all weekend with her cause she can't be alone for health reasons. I've always wished I was 'an early to bed and early to rise', but i'll do it for a week or two and then here I go again to the late hours again. I don't know what to tell you except maybe make it a new year's resolution. Sometimes that works for awhile.

LOL I don't know. I could ask the same question. By the middle of the night I'm up, awake, relaxed, and because it's so damn late, no one is interrupting me, because the rest of the world is asleep. When someone comes up with the ideal answer, let me know. LOL

I am also trying my best to sleep as early as I can but this tv shows just makes me not too..hehe and with this practice my body clock seems to love it opposing to what i wanted... Self discipline with this thing plays a big part so we should start now. All I want is to be asleep before 10 pm but seems to be hard..grrr! Watching tv before sleep lull people to sleep but it has negative effect on me, instead makes me more awake and interest to what I am watching. Let's start to discipline our selves and we should drink milk before sleep too(has chemical to help sleep), and good luck to us.
