What is Chinese Shaolin temple

The shaolin temple was named after its
location in rhw forest(pronounced as "lin" in Chinese)
on Shaoshi Mountain,(http://www.ytkungfu.net)
It was built in the 19th year of
the reign of emperor Xiaowen during the North Wei
Dynasty(495 AD),The monks in Shaolin temple practise
martial arts every day ,they got really great Kungfu skills.
