May be your response is yes or no only but try to explain why and how your response. When the civilization came to us only records we have about how they started to use all kinds of legal tender or currencies we are using for. As I know they started by barter from goods to goods, then by using precious stone like silver, gold and others, then paper and coins, then by use of all kinds of paper and cards, then I heard by using of chips to be implanted in our body. As I heard and read before happened they are started to unite all countries into one currency which Europe started, then next is Asia and all into one currency. You can see the trend and movement. Do you agree with me the possibility our society become or became already cashless society? Meaning no money required all are in terms digital, scan and others. For this trend are you prepare or are you affraid off the end result of this.. Why and any solution and suggestions... Share with us your thought and opinion.. see you around

I agree with Robin, we do have a long ways to go before we can go coompletely cashless and our currencies connected completely as one. There's a lot of controversy over the scanning part, anyway, for privacy reasons and health issues (radiation exposure). That doesn't mean it'll happen, it's just that we still have a lot of old-schoolers (myself included) who won't accept the concept. I don't mind using cards, though, but I do admit using cash is the best way to go, as credit has ruined my life. I am more inclined to say it'll be a good century before African and Asian countries (don't forget the Americas, too!) rally around and create their own versions of the Euros. Then those countries have to agree to create a world currency, so there is a lot of work involved in this process. And it will take time. In conclusion, it definitely is possible, in fact I'm pretty sure it'll really start to unfold rapidly on a global scale for sure perhaps 150 years from now.

Hi visavis, I can see it happening within the next few years and I expect that security will be in place. The world has changed so much even in the last twenty years, and now things are changing even faster. When it does happen it won't take long for everyone to accept it. Blessings.

i can't imagine our society to become a cashless society... i don't think it will work out... it will be very hard to do this and i am a bit scared to think that a chip will be implanted inside my body and i have to be scanned to do transactions... i prefer the society as it is now... i don't like to think that it will become a cashless society... may be one day... who knows??? take care and have a nice day...

Can it be done? I don't know if it is within my lifetime, or for another 100 years of future. Currently, we don't like the change of united world, or everyone using a single currency. Because the forex market may collapse instantly. So, you got a great idea, but not going to happen soon yet!

It is quite possible that this movement towards a cashless, one-world currency fits right nicely with prophecies found in the Bible. If one was to take the Bible literally, as I do, this one-world government, with all that goes with it, is prophesied to take place just prior to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. When one looks at these Biblical prophecies, one sees that many things are to happen at much faster rates than they normally happen. What we think could happen in maybe a hundred years will be happening in months or in weeks. When our way of life gets drastic, then we move drastically. The end times is coming soon, and things are getting more and more drastic. I believe we alive now will see one-world currency, one-world government, one-world religion. Beyond the religious reasons for this, there is the fact that people in power always seek more power, and one-world everything is most powerful. These events are not to be feared, if you are right with God. When Jesus does come back, He will be protecting all that God wills, and God wills the protection of His children. With Jesus for us, who can stand against us?
