Do you think J.Lo is going to be a good judge?

With the loss of Simon in American Idol as a judge, a lot of its viewers are a bit pessimistic whether the show is still going to be a great hit. With the roster of new judges including J. Lo, I wonder if J. Lo is going to be as good a judge as she is as a performer.

I just saw the first episode a few minutes back and I can say that Jennifer Lopez is a good judge.. She just found it hard to say "No" which was pretty cute- it's really nice to have a lady judge since they're all touchy. But she's really nice and encouraging..

Hello there! I also watched J. Lo's first episode with American Idol season 10 last night. :D Indeed she had a tough time saying "No" to those unfortunate souls. She really find it difficult to say "No" hehehe. I guess in time and after listening to some "off-keys" and "ear shattering" performances she'll probably get used to it. It's refreshing to find new faces and new comments from the judges in American Idol. Have a good day and happy mylotting! :D

Being a performer does not guarantee someone to be a good or great judge and in the case of Miss J-Lo , being an average singer and a mediocre actress , I guess this season will not be as interesting as the previous ones ! She does not possess the "eye" nor the "critical mind" of Simon Cowell. As objectively as I could be and in all honesty I can say that this is not her cup of tea ! aldym826

J.Lo seems like a pretty good judge. I watched the preview the other day and it looks pretty interesting with Aerosmith as well. I'm going to have to keep a lookout for this once.

I'm wondering who has the 'Simon Cowell' role, and who's been assigned to it. I hope all three of them don't sit there and nod like bobble head dolls like they did last season. I don't like J.Lo, but I'm going to resign judgement until I see the first show. If Stephen Tyler shows up sober, I wish them a lot of luck. It was bad enough we had to see Paula Abdul drunk on the show. I wish them luck, they're going to need it, lol.

I knew Simon was leaving, and actually thought he left awhile ago. I had heard that Whoppi Goldberg was going to be a judge. I think JLo will be an excellent judge. I have a lot of faith in her. Who else is on the roster of perspective judges?
