I always hear the word caviar from famous chef and cook. But I never tasted a caviar in my whole life. They say it was an egg. Is there anyone could give me a review about this caviar and why it was expensive at the same time?

I had caviar on a cruise once, but I don't know how much it cost. Maybe it is expensive because it is hard to get. It's like crab and lobster. They are expensive because it is so hard to get them, and the labor to bring them in is extensive. So perhaps it is something like that. Just a theory. I can't really explain the taste of caviar. It was a long time ago that I had some. I do remember that I liked it.

syoti Caviar is really expensive for fish eggs from thr sturgeon fish. they are fishy tasting and salty and I fail to see why people think they are all that great. I would much rather have a nice plate of grilled fish myself than yucky looking fish eggs. the black color turns me off completely. But to each his own and they are not my own.lol lol lol.

I've never eaten caviar, either. I've heard that it has kind of a fishy taste, though. Only the very rich people eat it, though.
